A Yagi antenna typically has a narrow beamwidth thus covering a smaller area but able to reach further, whereas a Sector antenna is inherently designed to cover a wide area and therefore has a wider beamwidth. A Yagi or Sector antenna could be used as either a donor or service antenna depending on your application.
