Repeaters: Provide a wireless improvement in service to a building or stationary location. The external antenna of the system needs to be located on the roof of the building, facing the nearest cell tower. It will pick up the cellular signals and rebroadcast it indoors, to the areas that are affected by poor reception. It cannot provide service to an area if the external antenna outside is not receiving a signal.
Repeaters are not Boosters, nor can you mate them to boosters. Although most high-powered repeaters for large home or commercial applications can add considerable power and gain to a weak signal, there still needs to be a usable signal where the donor antenna is located for the system to perform well. Low cost or low powered repeaters need to be receiving a very good outdoor signal for them to work at all.
The Benefits: Of repeaters are very convenient. They provide a wireless improvement in reception to areas that were once affected by poor reception. Like our Boosters, all devices operating on the cellular network will see an improvement in performance. Multiple phones throughout a building can benefit from a wireless repeater.
