Yachiyo //Case Study

When the President of Yachiyo Alabama (a subsidiary of Honda) could not be reached by his superiors in Japan on his Docomo Mobile handset while here in the USA, they knew right then that an in-building solution to provide cellular coverage was needed.
While here in the USA, Docomo roams on local US GSM networks, but due to the all-metal 250,000 sq ft factory building and extremely high voltage power being used in the building for manufacturing, indoor cellular reception was none existent for all the carriers.
Yachiyo contacted several vendors to provide a solution. The quotes that came back were considered to be way over priced. JDTECK was also contacted and provided them a quote that was $30,000 less than the closest bid. There was a concern if going with JDTECK was a good choice because of the huge price difference. But with a proven track record, JDTECK got the job. From the solution design to the start of the installation, it took just 8 days.
The Yachiyo representative said, “I feel Yachiyo got the best product at the best price!” Yachiyo has also expressed interest in having JDTECK do several of their other manufacturing facilities.
