Costco //Case Study

 

Costco Wholesale approached JDTECK for a solution to provide wireless in-building cellular coverage for one of their store locations soon to open in Rego Park, New York.

They were looking for a high quality but competitively priced solution that would get coverage into their location which is currently under construction. This new store location is sub-level of a shopping mall located in Queens, New York.

Coverage prior to the system being installed was non-existent for all carriers. This created a logistical nightmare for the entire work force who lost all communication once they walked onto the job site. Lots of man hours were wasted trying to locate people on the job site, which was more than 200,000 sq ft i size.

The installation was completed in 3 days and management at Costco is extremely pleased that they are now able to benefit from in-building cellular coverage for both their employees and future customers.
